It depends, generally such teeth will continue to erupt into your mouth until you are biting your cheek. If the tooth is exposed in the mouth, it is in danger of decay. Such teeth are difficult to keep clean and are prone to future infection and problem. As a general rule, the younger you are, the simpler the procedure. Also, with upper teeth, eruption as you explain also makes the tooth simpler to remove. Let us know if we can help you. (801) 370-0050.

Many dental insurance plans will cover the removal of impacted teeth -- infact, most do. However, at the same time, some insurance require the billing of medical insurance first. The best way to find out is to call our office and ask for a "complimentary benefits check" on your insurance. We will call your insurance company and help you filter through the insurance maze. You will know exactly what your copy will be and we will stand behind it! Oh and by the way, we are preferred providers for Cigna Dental! Give us a call, (801) 717-1005.
